Claire Fairclough MA VetMB MRCVS OV

Claire graduated from Cambridge University Veterinary School in 2006. Since then she has been working throughout the UK in many busy practices and veterinary hospitals. She also spent a year living and working throughout Australia treating their pets and native wildlife. She spent 3 months in the rainforests of Borneo studying Orangutans and 1 month in South Africa giving Veterinary Support during Game Capture in Safari Parks. She was proudly nominated for the PetPlan Award - Vet of The Year 2012, 2013 and 2014 due to her dedication to provide the best for pets and their owners.

She has many of her own pets. Right now she has a cat called Ollie, who she rescued from the streets of Newton-le-Willows, a dog called Coco, a Minature Yorkshire Terrier, Sophie, a rescued Staffie Cross and Harvey, a rescued Yorkshire Terrier. Both are from Animals In Need in Melling, Liverpool. Sharon,Tracey and Dorian, 3 rescued chickens from Lucky Hens in Wigan. And let's not forget Germontrude, a Horsefields tortoise and Humpty a Hermanns tortoise.

Her profession is her passion, so you can be sure that your pet is in good hands with a highly-qualified vet. A wide range of specialisms are covered, which allows rapid, comprehensive treatment in a stress-free enviroment for your beloved pets.

Directions: From the M62 – Junction 9

Leave the M62 at junction 9 (Winwick), take the A49 (Winwick Road) towards Warrington. Go straight over the roundabout, remaining on the A49. Continue on the A49, then at the traffic light junction (McDonalds and Matalan on right), turn left into Longford Street. At the T-junction at the end of Longford Street, turn left onto Marsh House Lane. Take the third left into Orford Avenue (just before the mini roundabout). Vets Now is located on the junction with Fitzherbert Street on the left hand side.
