Claire graduated from Cambridge University Veterinary School in 2006. Since then she has been working throughout the UK in many busy practices and veterinary hospitals. She also spent a year living and working throughout Australia treating their pets and native wildlife. She spent 3 months in the rainforests of Borneo studying Orangutans and 1 month in South Africa giving Veterinary Support during Game Capture in Safari Parks. She was proudly nominated for the PetPlan Award - Vet of The Year 2012, 2013 and 2014 due to her dedication to provide the best for pets and their owners.
She has many of her own pets. Right now she has a cat called Ollie, who she rescued from the streets of Newton-le-Willows, a dog called Coco, a Minature Yorkshire Terrier, Sophie, a rescued Staffie Cross and Harvey, a rescued Yorkshire Terrier. Both are from Animals In Need in Melling, Liverpool. Sharon,Tracey and Dorian, 3 rescued chickens from Lucky Hens in Wigan. And let's not forget Germontrude, a Horsefields tortoise and Humpty a Hermanns tortoise.
